The Oklahoma Ambulance Association (OKAMA) iis proud to present our 2018 Fall Conference which will be held on Wednesday, October 17th at the History Center in Oklahoma City. This conference will provide attendees information on important state and national compliance and funding issues. American Ambulance Association representatives and current OKAMA board members Rebecca Williamson and Angie McLain will provide an informative session about the 2018 federal legislation on expanded Medicare cost reporting.
The conference sessions will also include a comprehensive session, critical to all ALS providers, presented by representatives from the Drug Enforcement Administration, The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and The Oklahoma State Department of Health regarding regulations and compliance with inspections. Comprehensive sessions held throughout the day will also include a session with Gail Atnip of Novitas, providing valuable information critical to Medicare and Medicaid. Additionally, several of our Association Vendors will be presenting a “What’s New” session highlighting new equipment and services available to OKAMA members.
