Spring is coming and the wolves seem to still be at the door. Does it seem it gets harder and harder to run and fund an ambulance operation? Come let us help. The Oklahoma Ambulance Association (OKAMA) is proud to announce that our 2016 Spring Conference will be held on Tuesday, March 29th at the History Center in Oklahoma City. Comprehensive sessions will be held throughout the day with broad topics of importance and interest to the leadership, operational and billing/financial personnel of your organization. Gail Atnip of Novitas and Lisa Gifford of the Oklahoma Healthcare Authority will lead sessions, providing valuable information critical to Medicare and Medicaid funding and reimbursement. Maria Bianchi, Executive Director of the American Ambulance Association will bring a national perspective to the many important issues facing ambulance providers in the US., and Heath Stone, Operations Supervisor for MedStar Mobile Healthcare, will present an important session about preparing your organization for an active shooter situation.
