NOMINATIONS ARE CLOSED FOR 2018

The Oklahoma Ambulance Association's Annual Stars of Life event celebrates the dedication and service of EMS providers and support staff from across the state.

OKAMA Stars nominees receive a commemorative medal, challenge coin, and program booklet in recognition of their selection. Additionally, one OKAMA Star will be selected by the nomination committee for an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC to represent OKAMA at the American Ambulance Association's Stars of Life June 11–13.

What Do I Need to Nominate A Star?

Before you nominate your Star online, please gather the following information and materials. This will make your nomination process a snap!

Short bio for the program book. Need help writing a bio? Read our examples for ideas on how to get started!
High-quality photo for the program book and presentation. Here are some tips for taking great photos from your phone!
Names of all guests. (Note: you can email oklahoma@ambulance.org later to substitute new names, if needed, but we need an accurate headcount for catering as soon as possible. If unsure of names at this time, you can just list guests as "Guest One," "Guest Two," etc.)

All Star nominations must be received by March 30, 2018.

Dress Code

This is a formal event. Coat and tie or service dress uniforms are recommended.

Guest Policy

Each Star is permitted up to two guests (including Host organization leaders), as indicated during the registration process. Additional guests are billed to the Host organization at $45 each.
