Speaker: Scott Moore, Esq, of EMS Resource Advisors

The Supervisor Sim Lab is a practical, scenario-based, interactive educational workshop similar to patient care simulations. Attendees will be presented a few days prior to the workshop with two scenarios taken from real life ambulance service operations. Attendees will be asked to consider and outline how they would approach the scenario for their own reference during the program. The workshop faculty will perform a step-by-step analysis of the scenario with suggestions on the best practices from formulating an investigation plan, executing the investigation, and documenting the process and outcome in legal defensible investigation report.

Attendees who attend this program will leave with an outline for conducting the investigation and for drafting an investigatory report. Like most skills in EMS, competency is reached by frequent exposure and scenario based training. The EMS Supervisor Sim Lab provides a learning environment that EMS field providers are very familiar and comfortable with.
